I am originally from Holdrege. I attended college at UNK and studied Athletic Training while also playing volleyball for UNK. I graduated in 2007 with a degree in Exercise Science: Athletic Training and then went back to school, on and off for a few years, to get my Math Education degree from Chadron State College. I started out teaching in Lexington, NE for four years and then taught at Wilcox-Hildreth for a year before getting the opportunity to teach in Loomis. 2023-2024 will be my 5th year at LPS!
I currently live in Holdrege with my husband and three daughters. My husband, Casey, is the high school History teacher here at Loomis and my daughters also attend LPS. Kaitalyn is in 7th grade, Kesley is in 4th grade, and Kaysen is in 1st grade.
I enjoy being around my family and playing/watching sports.
My family would probably tell you I also enjoy taking naps! :)
I am excited for the opportunity to teach and coach in Loomis.
