Working...
I have been involved in education for over 30 years in many different capacities. I have taught K-12 Physical Education & Weight Training, 7-12 Social Studies, 11th Grade American History and I have been Varsity Coach of Football, Wrestling and Track as well a sponsor of many other extra-curricular activities. Presently I am the Superintendent of Loomis Public School after having served as K-12 Principal for 4 years. I am married with 3 children. My wife Cheryl works as a secretary at Loomis Schools. My oldest daughter is a nurse in Hastings, my middle daughter is a cosmetologist in Holdrege, and my son is currently attending working in Kearney. I grew up in a small town and always knew I wanted to return to teach in a rural setting. I enjoy spending time with family. Attending concerts and mostly spending time at the Harlan County Lake.
As the School Leader of Loomis I subscribe to a set of FOUR Core Beliefs for our school!
1. Kids Come First
2. Great Teachers make Great Schools
3. Relationships are Vital
4. Celebrate diversity and Promote Respect.
