MY ROLE

I'm Coach Squiers. I'm currently in my 5th year of education and my FIRST year at Loomis. My role here will include PE for grades 1st - 6th, High School Weights, and Junior High Sports/Weights. I will also serve as the Activities Director, Head Boys Basketball, and Assistant Football.

My Mission Statement

The purpose of the Loomis Physical Education program is to create an active, engaging and safe learning environment where all students will improve their physical literacy while developing strategies to encourage lifelong physical fitness. Loomis students will be challenged to improve their motor movements as well as work social skills in order to be a productive member of society.

About Me

I was raised in Kearney and went to high school at Kearney Catholic. I then moved on to UNK and was fortunate enough to play college football while receiving my degree in PE K-12. My first teaching job was elementary PE at Cozad Elementary. During my time there, I finished a Master's program in Educational Leadership.

Some of my hobbies include fishing, hanging out with friends and family, and watching sports!

My reason for choosing education is that I want to have a positive impact on our youth in order for them to become successful leaders in the future.
